Marcus was once a legendary hero of the ancient planet of Zerana who fought in countless wars. He was also known to be the first Avatar amongst the Terrahyptians and the last who fought an unspeakable evil many eons ago.
No one knows what happened to him after his battle with the entity, some say his spirit is trapped between worlds in the Astral Chaos, binding his body to an unholy seal, dooming him forever to stay in an eternal slumber unless it is broken. Unfortunately it is unknown where his body is inprisoned and to this day many Terrahyptians have gone in search for him hoping to bring back their legendary hero.
